Last of Easter

Last Saturday we spent at the Williams' House celebrating Easter with our Hawaiian Ohana.

We played with bubbles.Dyed and Decorated Eggs
The Little Ones played in the yard.We hunted for eggs. Little Ones First, of course. Then the Big Kids. There they go!Holden needed some help to know what to do. I don't think he ever really caught on, or cared. Nora totally figured it out though. She was a rockstar egg hunter...for a 16 month old! With all of her eggs.
Which I dumped out of her basket to sort the goodies. She did NOT like that I did that. "eggs go in the basket mom!" Holden and UncleLet Us Out!
The babies first chocolate.

Happy Easter!

It's been a good weekend--one that started out with no real plans and ended up being a pretty busy weekend filled with lots of fun times with our friends and church family.

This morning we went to church of course to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, and it was a beautiful day. Last Easter Sunday was a monsoon, so it was nice to wake up to the sun shining! The Larson's joined us this morning for church!
Afterwards we all went out for lunch at Chilis. 3 adults and 5 babies. They were actually really well behaved and we all had a good time.

When we got back home, we found the Easter Bunny

had left a surprise for us! movies, bubbles, a ball, animals, books, crackers and peeps, oh my!

thanks grandma and grandpa for the singing cards! they are always a favorite!

Then tonight our friends Mike and Erica came over brought dinner and a movie. Holden and Nora always LOVE for Uncle Mike to come over and play!

Easter is one of those holidays that you always want to be with family and i will admit i wasn't really looking forward to spending it without alone, without Mike or my family. Still, as always the Lord provided plenty of opportunities for my children and I to have fun, hang out, and feel loved.

Lazy Week Recap

Not that we had a "lazy" week, but more like I am being a "lazy poster". I seem to have a bit of 'blogger's block' or something...eh, between Easter, Katie and Anna coming soon I am sure this block won't last long!

Sunday night, i needed to run a few errands so we got supper at Denny's while we were out. This is the first time i have ever taken the kiddos out to eat by myself. They were great and we got quite a few compliments on their good behavior. Here they are entertaining themselves while waiting on our food.

Monday we went to the playdate/ easter egg hunt--at least i posted on something this week!

Tuesday the kiddos spent the morning with Auntie Marybeth while mommy went to work for a while. They helped her run errands and went out to lunch with Uncle Bryan. Auntie brought them back home all worn out and ready for a nap which was great for mommy who was also ready for a nap! Thanks Auntie, you're the best!

Wednesday was errand day for mommy--boring, but Thursday we spent at the Larson's House for our weekly playdate, followed by our monthly multiples meeting. Always a good time. Before the meeting we had some free time and let the kiddos play on the playground. This one is smaller than most, the perfect size for beginning players! Holden and Nora even took their 1st solo slide rides!

Friday I picked up Elizabeth and Bethany and we all went out for breakfast at Koa Pancake House. Then we went back to their house for some play time.

This morning, we slept in since we had a late night last night at church and are heading out later to go hunt Easter Eggs at the Williams' House. Then its back home to take baths and get in bed early so we are all rested for Easter tomorrow.

Hope you all are having a great Easter weekend I will try to have more interesting posts next week! ALOHA.
