Out and About

Here's some randoms from the past few weeks--little bits of cute and fun in our every day life. 

On mom's last day here, i was wanting to get out the house, so we went to see October Baby (which i really liked) and then stopped to get a hotdog at Hanks Haute Dogs.  It's been featured on most of the travel network food shows and i love a good hotdog--so i had to test it out.  AND i can't believe we waited so long to go there...i am sure i will be dragging my family there at least 2 more times before we leave! 

the same day mom adn i went out Mike took the kids to the Auto Show.  He was in Heaven.  Of Course. 

 The Cowan's sent us a pretty great fruit bouquet this week.  The babies ate all the best stuff, of course--but i hoarded the chocolate bananas for myself...and maybe let Mike have a few bites ;)

 A few weeks ago, the kids and i had a jamba juice outing...these are coming to a close, and i think we all are going to be sad about that!

So, for all you Jamba Juice lovers out there (and if you don't know what i am talking about, You must look up your nearest Jamba and go there ASAP !) Did you know that there is a SECRET MENU?

Well, Anne heard about this from her seatmate on her plane ride over and i looked it up to see if this was true and to my utmost excitement....there REALLY IS such a thing!

I have found a lot of info on the web about it...there seems to be a little variance in the lists and apparently some jamba juice establishments may not know ALL the recipes, but there are some secret menu items that are well known and apparently AMAZING.

Here are some of the Secret Menu Items:

I know you guys are as curious as I was about all these! So today, i tried it out. Although I am a bit curious about some of the latter ones on the list, i thought i would play it safe today with a Pina Colada, because really thats one of my favorite flavors...and it was WONDERFUL, maybe the best i've ever had. that's right you heard it...THE BEST.

So if you have a Jamba Juice near you, pls. go try some of these out and let me know which ones you like. it feels just like a whole new world has opened up--i just wish i had some of my favorite jamba juice girls around still to go get them with.
