Dinner Party with the Little Ones

Nanny Katie and Uncle Tim came into town for a few short days for Christmas so we had a dinner party at Katie's parents house just like old times.  Auntie Heather and Uncle Chris were able to come over too.  

here we are...as you can see the kiddos took to our friends pretty well.  like they ditched us...haha.

Random Fun...the Last from Katie's trip

What would a visit with Katie be without random fun and silliness?? well it wouldn't be a visit with katie, that's for sure!

We ate at mommy's favorite Thai restaurant and learned to eat cheerios with chopsticks. and we practiced the fine art of "paci-dangling" in order to look at the the camerawent to the swap meet to look for treasures

made squishy faces into the tupperware..."why?" you ask... we say, "why not!"

we wore cups on head ...because using them for anything else is so 2000 and late and we kissed each other's feet because..it's Oh So Silly!

Beaching with KK

okay...i'm gonna try and do some catch up over the next few days. Here's some fun pictures from beaching with Nannie Kate.

The first time we went to the beach it was a beautiful morning. Katie and I tried to dig a hole for the babies (actually to create a barrier so we didn't have to chase holden) but we found out that digging hole's are Hard Work! who wants to do manual labor at the beach? ha. we don't.babies in the hole..it was deeper than it looks. i promise :)Nora didn't like getting in the hole...as you can seeshe preferred to sit on the pool...such a girl!i love this picture. hat twins.we tried for a group pic...we ended up with this. stinker boy."why is everyone always taking my picture?"we went to the beach again on Katie's last day--as well as Anna's first day in HI--but the weather wasn't very cooperative. Crafty Katie

Nannie Katie is super crafty and brought lots of fun things with her made especially by her for the kiddos. She keeps us stylin'!

These bracelets are super fun. I have some for me as well and Holden wore one today with his board shorts and totally "rocked it". Supposedly the bracelet is supposed to be so easy a "kid" can do it--but after much frustration and practice i am still terrible at it. Thankfully Nannie Katie was here to help me out!
this is a cute bow she upcycled from a thrift store t-shirt. it's adorable. and despite NGB's sad eyes, she likes it too...she was just a little sicky this day :(
