Locked Out

Holden has been obsessed with the gate at the stairs, he just stands there and hollers at he walls, sometimes though, Oliver comes and watches him. That drives Holden even crazier because he can't get to the cat. I believe Oliver appreciates the barrier. He even convinced Nora to come check things out too.

After prying them away from the awesome staircase and gate, i got a few silly minutes with my kiddos.

Being a Mommy is awesome!

Friday Flick

Ok, this one really makes me laugh. There's quite a bit of crying, so be prepared and maybe turn down the voume some. You gotta feel bad for the poor girl, all she wanted in the world was to walk around and carry Auntie's purse.

Slacker

#1) I have been a slacker about Movie Monday...oops
#2) In response to my slackering I was trying to upload a movie tonight, but alas, i am still a slacker because it takes too long and i don't feel like waiting around...so maybe it will be ready in the morning.
#3) I am also a slacker because my new slacker roommate got me addicted to this. But if you think I am a slacker you should see what she is doing right now...here.

Can I get an Amen?

Katie and I fullfilled a very important Motherly/Nanny duty and introduced the kiddos to the world of San Felipe for which no doubt, they will never be the same. They took to cheese quesidillas and beans like it was their purpose in life and Nanny and I were both so proud!

I am already expecting a request for their 2nd Birthday Party to be held there. They were oh so intrigued by the singing and sombrero wearing (even if it's a silly miniture sombrero that is guarded like Ft. Knox) It's definitely the "cool" thing to do!

and if it were even possible, Nora is rockin' a mohawk better than she ever has before!

her mohawks always start while trying to be a good mommy and apply lots of sunscreen. Her hair is still so thin that we have to spray down her head, but then there is a dilemma with the greasy long hairs...oh what to do??? Well of course what else is there to do but style it into the most awesome mohawk known to babykind! And don't forget the bow!

It was good to get back to the pool, although the water was actually pretty cold, probably from all the rain that HI has been getting lately.

Auntie Megan

I'd like to introduce Auntie Megan. She graciously offered to come help out for awhile and we are so very grateful. Megan is a fun, kind, adventurous, carefree, hardworking, fearless, sweet, southern girl. She's also a twin herself. We're kind of giving her an education on what it was like for her mom to raise her an Michael. I think she has already called home a few times to thank her mom for all she did for them growing up!

For Real

so since i've been back in HI i have been exhausted. traveling with 2 kiddos is super stinky. so sorry fo rhte lack of posts and no catch ups yet. BUT i couldn't let this one pass by...


I've posted quite a bit on Nora's walking progress, but I have been reluctant to actually say "she's walking". The past few months have been learning to take steps, but her preferred method of movement has still been crawling. That was true until today... she is now officially: A Walker! Congrats little girl!
