Our church moms playdate today included a mini easter egg hunt in the backyard. The host house is up on a mountain with a beautiful view over a valley toward the ocean. In this valley there is apparently a lot of wild boar....boar who apparently also celebrate easter and wanted to join us on our easter egg hunt...creepy.

Really I was a bit concerned that they were more interested in hunting out my little babies...geez, after watching LOST i do not have a very good impression of wild pigs! The host said that they come out a lot and that they were harmless...still, with Holden's fearlessness and Nora's animal obsession, they both ran straight towards the pics with their hands out squealing....not very comforting. We decided to hang back on the porch until the pigs moved on.

After the egg hunt, it was playtime for all the kiddos. There were mostly all girls there today, and they were all in the playhouse...Holden was their bouncer, totally consumed with his job duties!

i don't think NGB likes what that little girl is saying...

check out those muddy britches!--yes, i said "britches", i was also made fun of by my sweet hawaiian friends for using the word "kin" i wasn't even aware that was a "southern word"....just keeping the southern culture alive in the middle of the Pacific. ;)
