If you have never had the pleasure of going to a homecoming--they are really pretty awesome. The excitement and emotion is so thick in the air you can feel it. Deployments Suck--that's for sure, but if we gotta do them, thank heavens for homecomings. They are my Most. Favorite. Thing. Ever.
I've got a TON of pictures from yesterday and i picked all my favorites to put on the blog...and it's still a mile long--oops. Anyway, i'll let the pictures tell the story, so enjoy!
The Garage
The Car
Totally awesome day.
It'll be cool with me if we never have another one like it, but it still ranks up there on the list of best days ever. We're so glad to have our family back together! I'm a bit behind, but check back later today, or tomorrow morning for a few special videos.

such a happy boy and he doesn't even know the half of it!
The Williamses came to welcome Mike home too.
with the DeSilva Family, their Daddy, Keith, was on the same flight
They are here! That screen behind the soldiers shows them when they are walking in the building and doing their turn-ins. It's exciting and torture all at the same time to see them on the screen and know they are just on the other side of the wall, but we can't see them! They all walk in formation and line up in front of us. This the the first time where Mike was in front of the pack--we didn't have any searching to do to find Daddy this time!
