Holy Hot Moly!

If you've been watching the news, you have hopefully seen what's been going on with the latest eruption of Kilauea Volcano. It's more active than its been in the 5 years we've been here and the video footage is awesome.

Going to Volcano National Park has been one of our favorite places in Hawaii. We've been there quite a bit since living here. I've seen it in all sorts of stages from quiet and peaceful, to smoking, to flowing. The volcano is truly awesome.
To see the latest updates check out this site http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/kilauea/update/images.html

There is also a website with a real time camera set up, although i've been watching it the past few days, and there hasn't been much activity except for smoke from that angle. If you wanna follow the video here's the link to it

Here's a few of my favorite volcano pics from past visits too! hiking a craterviews from the helicopternight viewing of lavaChain of Craters: End of the Road.
