Day 6

This morning Nora woke us up and she was in a great mood. Nana made breakfast and Nora sat with Daddy while he ate. Great Grandpa also came by for a visit. We went ahead and let Holden sleep for awhile so Nora was able to have some alone time with the adults and soak up all the attention!

Holden finally woke up after another astonishing sleep....14 hours!
Mommy had a lunch date with her friend Heather from high school. Heather came by a bit early so she could meet the babies and play with them some. It's always exciting meeting new aunties!

Holden also wore a new outfit today. Nana picked it out because of the stripes...but its one of Mommy's favorites because of what it says!
In the afternoon, Mommy and Daddy left Nana with baby-duty so they could pack up. We are going on a trip, visiting all of our out-of-town family and friends. We should be gone from Asheboro for about 9 days. The first leg of our trip is to Fayetteville where we are staying with our wonderful Hawaii friends Jake, Hillary and their new baby boy Jack. Hillary was pregnant with Jack when they left Hawaii last summer and we had yet to meet each other's babies. Jack is just 1 day older than the twins...but he's definitely a bit bigger!

look at those legs!

Jack was a bit overwhelmed at all the new people in his house. He just wanted his Mommy!

Everyone in their jammies, hanging out in Jack's crib
The drive to Fayetteville went really well. I realize it isn't all that far, but compared to anywhere we go in Hawaii it was the longest car ride yet for the babies. I was a bit worried since the carseats can sometimes be an issue, but the babies did great with just a little whining because they were hungry at the end. Longer drives are ahead this week, so i'll keep you posted on how it goes!
