The first time we went to the beach it was a beautiful morning. Katie and I tried to dig a hole for the babies (actually to create a barrier so we didn't have to chase holden) but we found out that digging hole's are Hard Work! who wants to do manual labor at the beach? ha. we don't.

we went to the beach again on Katie's last day--as well as Anna's first day in HI--but the weather wasn't very cooperative. It was overcast and misty most of the time and then it started to really rain on us as we were trying to pack up and get to the car. oh well. every day can't be paradise, i guess.
