When the babies woke up to eat at 6, Mike and I decided to go ahead and get up and go get a good breakfast. We went on island to a little diner called Russels--mainly a local joint where everyone knew each other and probably eat there each and every day. They had great country ham and homestyle hashbrowns...Mike and I were in Heaven! Can't get a breakfast like that in HI!
Then we all went back and took good LONG NAPS with our full bellies!
That afternoon we went into Southport to mess around and enjoy the pretty weather. We had lunch at the Trolly Stop. I love hotdogs and the trolly stop has lots of good ones to try! the menu
Mike got a burger--but i told him he had to have a hotdog too...i mean that's what they are famous for!

OH hotdogs how i love thee
Chili, Cheese and Mayo--don't knock it till you try it, it's so very yummy!
After lunch we walked around Southport--its one of my favorite little towns. It's very small but has lots of character and history to it. I would love to have a house here one day! Like maybe this one!
We miss sea birds in HI--there's just a lot of pigeons there...gross!
very sleepy babies
we had to stop by my favorite ice cream shop of course
The pool was open when we got back, so we stopped by for a few minutes before nap time. The babies enjoyed the big pool with Mommy and Daddy for awhile, but we also got in the baby pool before we left--it was much warmer in there!
i love nora's face here
daddy teaching nora to float
Then...after such a gorgeous day, the bottom fell out of the sky! My plan was to go to Provision Co. for dinner but its a semi outdoor restaurant, so instead we just threw on our jeans and sweatshirts and went to Famous for a quick dinner. Holden was really happy this evening, and Nora was very asleep!
