Day 16

Sunday was a gorgeous day... a bit hotter and more humid than we are used to but oh well, that's NC.

We went to church with Dad and Anne on Sunday. It was Memorial Sunday and they were honoring the members who had died the past year. This is the first Sunday that we have tried to keep the babies in a church service. All was going okay until near the end of the service--the preacher had just announced the name of the last person the congregation was remembering and in the middle of the silence Holden let out a HUGE fart/poop. It couldn't have been worse timing--and boy was he proud with his big ol' smile.

After church we came back to my moms to see my brother, Alex. We took the babies in the backyard to look at the hydrangeas and then to play in the water fountain. They seemed to thoroughly enjoy both!

while outside i saw this on the side of the house and couldn't resist to capture a picture--this was done in 1998--my youngest stepbrother, Michael was still with us and then there is our Kitty, Anastasia's paw print to the far left
Grandpa also came over to hang out for awhile--so we took even more pictures!Nora was really making some faces this afternoon...

I can't believe how big the babies are now! They really seem to be coming into their own! It's strange not having them in the nursery.
