Day 18

Tuesday some of our Hawaii friends came for a visit and to go to the zoo. Just the girls were able to come because the husbands all had to work, but Mike still came with us. He couldn't miss the babies first trip to the zoo and we needed a photographer!
Here we are, Hillary, Renee, Me and Carrie.
Hillary, her husband Jake and their new son Jack are currently stationed at Ft. Bragg, we visited them earlier last week as well. Renee, her husband Adam and their little girl Allie are stationed at Ft. Lee and will soon be moving to Ft. Eustace. Then Carrie and her husband Mark are getting ready to move to Washington DC, but for the last year they have been living in Aiken, SC. It's great that we are all on the East Coast and could meet up--we were just missing Kim who is current living in FL with her husband Jordan. They are all such good friends and I miss each of them dearly, but we had an amazing time together on this day!
It was a pretty day at the zoo--not too hot! The newest exhibit is Lemur Island...but this is all we saw...i guess they thought it WAS too hot because they were hiding in the shade being boring!
This is what the babies did for the majority of the zoo tripThe Girls with their new additions...Strollers!We rode the carousel and it was maybe my favorite part of the zoo! Although until i got home i though Nora was riding a horse...sure is a tall wolf!Daddy touring the Sonora Desert with the twins..mommy's turn to be the photographer!Pretending we're at Yellowstone...this where we decided that when our kids are all around the 5th grade, we are going to rent RV's take them out of school and take a cross-country road trip and teach them US History ...it will be great fun!Sitting on the Railings...Already rule breakers!watching the seals with my NorabirdNora sitting in Allie's lapI L-O-V-E this picture!Sunglasses and Polar BearsAfter the zoo we all came back to the house to change diapers/clothes and rest...or play in the cribs....Jack's face is priceless! Mom's Hydrangea's are so beautiful that we went outside for a photo shoot. I got some really great pics of the the babies...here's my faves

It was a great day and i was sad to see the girls go--good news is Carrie, Hillary and Jack will soon be visiting me in HI and i can't wait!
