The Williams Family. Geez where do i even begin? They have been our family for the 5.5 years we have been living here in HI. MB and Bryan are like our brother and sister and their girls are our nieces. Marybeth was the first person to meet the twins. They love our kids like they were their own and have been there to help me out with the babies over this past deployment when i couldn't have done it alone. We have spent most all holidays and important life events together over the past 5 years and we have had the most awesome adventures with them exploring these awesome islands.
Over the past 5 years this family has taught us so much--i learned how to be an army wife from MB, we both have gone to them for marriage and parenting advice, from this family we've learned how to actively put our family first in a life where it feels like the Army runs everything we do. MB has also taught me how to be a "Mrs. Fix-it/Do-it-Myself/Take Charge". With all her training...and you tube how-to video hints, hopefully next time something breaks down and Mike isn't around, i'm gonna be able to handle it.
Basically, we're gonna miss them. A lot. And saying goodbye sucked. A lot. At least they are moving to VA, not too far from home. I'm already looking forward to seeing them again, but in the meantime this Burns Family is gonna have to learn to live without 4 people that have been such an important part of our lives.
