Denton Ridge

Last weekend we went to Denton Ridge to see Santa and all the lights. This was our second time going.  Last year we went while visiting the Sweatlands for Christmas and really enjoyed it.  The Santa-time is very sweet and not creepy and full of screaming children and disgruntled shoppers like the mall can be.  Mrs. Claus greets you at the door and gives you candy on the way out and Santa talks about Christmas and Jesus both, which i love.  The rest of the little village is full of lights, with horses, and a pig that you can feed, Christmas carolers, bonfires, hot chocolate, cider and and sweets.  it really can't get much better than that, right?

You ride trailers/golf carts pulled by tractors to get to the village...there is  a cool lit tunnel, a pretty pond and a live nativity on the way.

Waiting to see Santa
